These days it is impossible not to be struck by the sight of huge groups of birds circling dark magic in the sky, drawing paths and a charming little 'scary. In our country transfers fill the trees, cranes and their song, at dusk, filled the streets. What is immediately evident in the provision is the fact of having to pay an amount of € 250 a year to collect truffles in Parco.Roba crazy ... not so much having to pay a paltry sum for collect truffles .... I consider myself lucky since I'm in the park ... it just so .... those who live in municipalities within the park are not required to pay ... well gather truffles in the world today has become increasingly difficult and not divertente.Gli interests are growing and everything is changing so that this wonderful rapidamente.Speriamo world will soon change for the better.

The blog will undergo a facelift (already started actually with the new image which is the title) and some sections such as those of puppies or our dogs will move on site. There will of course remain our "diary" to write articles on lagotto, updates Pups and all that comes to mind. Thank you in advance for your patience and professional web designers Camilla and Philip Say Bosi ( Freely Design ) who look after the development of the site and give us a hand with the graphics for the blog, we hope to not make them too crazy with our adaptions! : D

For us, one observation arises: Is there really need to dissect animals in class to teach anatomy? Personally, I attended grammar school and, like most any high school student, I had a biology class that I have provided more than enough general knowledge to my survival, without the aid of demonstrations "such practices.

on Information Coop this month is very exciting news regarding animals used in laboratories for scientific experiments and we decided to report.
Since 2001, following a circular of the Ministry of Health, commissioned by Umberto Veronesi, the companies that practice such experiments are forced, in addition to minimizing the number of subjects used, even to give up those stranded to animal welfare groups. Since last October, the association Watership was able to open in the town of Monza, a special rehabilitation center for laboratory animals is currently the association home to hundreds of animals, including mice, rats and rabbits. They are cared for, vaccinated, sterilized and rehabilitated until they are ready for adoption (preferably in pairs) from families willing.
The Centre is obviously still in its infancy and needs the help of volunteers who dress in the area or people who help with a donation.
For information on adoptions, please contact info@lacollinadeiconigli.net or call 3463108968 between 19 and 21.30. For those who want to contribute financially to the support of the center may send your donation by bank transfer to:

Unfortunately for us, the holidays are over but the new year should help us to accomplish many good initiatives to improve our stay on this planet Earth.
why we decided to dedicate 2011 to the first notice of this important initiative sponsored by the Circle " Green Rooster", the group Legambiente of Greve in Chianti (which we proudly part).
For years we hear about in the space of Pet Therapy.
Pet Therapy is a gentle therapy based on the beneficial contact with the animals leads to health.
animals naturally procure comfort to persons who have the right: just think that when we encounter an animal in the street, is almost always want to touch it!
In the sixties it was the child psychiatrist Boris Levinson to theorize the importance of the interaction between humans and animals, he found that spending time with animals helps fight stress and overcome anxiety and depression. In particular, Levinson discovered that animals could be a "cure" for the psyche when one of his young patients, suffering from autism, called his dog by name. And thanks to the contact with the "hairy" the child's condition slowly improved. Under the patronage of
Cesvot (Volunteer Service Center Tuscany), the Club Gallo Verde promotes in Greve in Chianti, January 15, an important meeting on Pet Therapy, created with the invaluable assistance of Francis Bisagno , an expert trainer retrivers Greve, who on the farm "Bisagno House", including the other things work in the preparation of dogs for use by day care assisted therapy.
The rapporteur who will speak at the meeting, Dr. Frank Miller , is instead part of the 'Association Antropozoa non-profit organization, which since 2002 is committed to carrying out projects and interventions aimed at both children's hospitals, in primarily at the ' Ospedalino Meyer of Florence, in the departments of pediatrics, thus becoming a point of reference for regional and national programs backed by the animals within hospitals.
