How Long Should I Wear A Girdle After Pregnancy?
Botti
New Year has come and how each year brings with it the custom of greeting the new year with exploding firecrackers. Unfortunately, the day after the news telling the dramatic stories of injuries, even serious ones, that every year the custom proxy. This in fact seems quite significant in understanding how dangerous it could be the use of firecrackers, too often superficially considered a trivial game.
But there is another aspect, equally enlightening, against this foolish habit, something which, unfortunately, is often left unsaid. Try
only imagine what happens in the animal kingdom at the stroke of midnight on the arrival of the new year. We men can be overwhelmed by the barrel but the man knows what they are due. The animals but can not understand the noise and fills them with terror, as well as being the fireworks themselves a real danger for animals that are found in the street.
Cats, fleeing to seek refuge in the throes of a major state of confusion, likely to be hit by cars, thereby constituting a danger or may be affected by firecrackers thrown at random on the street and the dogs, if left connected to the chain can choke trying to escape, the rabbits, which in themselves are not known for the "Lionheart" can be a heart attack or cause serious damage even in their cages.
well, then ask you to minimize the outbreak of any form of artifice, there recommend to have small but necessary attention to your pets. At least, not leave them in the garden, put them in the house, so that while you will be to celebrate, even your friends will not suffer.
LAV carries a heartfelt campaign for days about it. I am attaching the flyer with valuable advice. Prestatie attention!
As always, we thank you for your attention.
A warm hug (with lots of hair) and best wishes for a 2011 where the respect and peaceful coexistence (between man and nature, between man and animal, between man and man) are not just a utopia.

New Year Merry Christmas Holly
Christmas is past, but still around is no air of celebration. It remains to be "read" a symbol of these last days, the beautiful and magical holly.
Holly is an evergreen plant, spontaneous, with upright and pyramidal crowns. Its leaves are glossy, dark green leaves with wavy edges and fitted with plugs. He loves the sun in a temperate climate and can reach 10 meters in height depending on variety.
The habit of using holly to decorate their homes is very ancient Druids used it to drive away evil spirits and Pliny the Elder recommended planting holly near the front door to keep out the bad guys. Even in medieval times, in many countries of the North, it was believed that this plant could counteract the power of storms in the winter nights.
Our Holly is a symbol of strength and eternity, probably because it looks hard.
Christians began to use it during the Christmas season because the leaves resemble the sharp crown of thorns and the red berries remind the drops of blood of Jesus
For once an article short, inquisitive and easy to read.
Good day to you all!

Sometimes returns
Uff ... How many months without writing in these pages. Of things have happened and lots of it since last April, the month in which I posted for the last time. We were glad to know that the articles of the Earth are constantly read by a large number of people even though they are now almost four years after his birth. The toughest problems of our planet the adobe construction, the Tour of Baja California Sur and Fivefingers are the most read post ever. I am very pleased to have helped people in search of information.
Moreover, this 2010 is a very busy year for me, full of emotions and changes. I started a new adventure that sheds some basis for a project that I have in mind and Pearl. I am organizing
weekends outdoors activities (Trekking, Mountain Bike, Run) to enable people to experience the beauty of the places that characterize Querétaro. In a country still far from this type of culture is a challenge but I have to say I'm satisfied with the results so far.
For me it is a great opportunity to learn about places and people that apportioned part of life. An experience so that helps me to better understand the respective territories.
I do not have time to complete this blog but I never thought to leave it or close it also because, as mentioned before, the articles I have written in these four years have been and will be useful to many people.
This blog is essentially born as a hymn to the earth and the souls who inhabit it but at this time to write more on this page feel the need to sing this hymn acting out. If you feel the need to write other posts on this blog I will not hesitate to do it anyway!

Speech For Work Anniversaries
Vibram FiveFingers
3 months with FiveFingers, 300 km route running and walking another 200. I started off with an adaptation to the 5 km race gradually increasing the mileage.
Last week I drove the first 22 km race in a row.
These gloves are pretty much intact after running these distances. The only part of the tie rods are worn a little side serving to adhere the shoe to the foot. For the rest material, apparently weak, it has proved resistant even to countless washings. Vibram soles have proven to be very good. After 500 km still seem new and I ran and walked on all types of terrain.
sensations and changes.
are still adapting. Practically run barefoot over cobblestones where I live, gravel and earth is really hard. Land on sharp stones, running is painful. The foot on the other hand is coming on strong. The arc is most prominent. I have also noticed a greater neuromuscular control of the foot, greater agility and proprioception.
The toes have a more expanded spacing which is reporting a little at a time the foot to its natural shape and an inverted triangle that is not straight like shoes and condition. I had no problem with muscle and joint fact, only improvements. The ankles are stronger as well as throughout the entire leg muscles. The movement has taken a stride more relaxed and spontaneous and I have gained more power in the climbs.
The next goals are to run longer distances to 22 km on any soil type and level.
After these months of testing I can recommend these shoes minimalist people who plan to walk or run completely free and natural.

Born to Run
Funny, exciting, ancient, awesome!
Published in 2009, this is a best-selling American book focuses on the act of travel, a movement that once allowed a man to becoming a successful long distance runners to tire and reach its prey ( more comprehensive discussion ) .
Born to run, born to run. Our body is born to run. The direction of movement.
to remember our anatomy, our biomechanical and some cultures like those of Rarámuri (those with light feet) and in the Copper Canyon today, to survive in a harsh and wild, they run hundreds of miles wearing only a pair of sandals.
The book is the story of the Tarahumara but also the history of man and the same author, Christopher McDougall , a correspondent for the Associated Press journalist and editor of Men's Health.
Christopher could not run for his injuries.
Until the meeting in a Caballo Blanco ultrarunner who for years lived in Colorado and Mexico in the Sierra Tarahumara with divided his life with Rarámuri.
Hence the rediscovery of natural gesture the race and the human body.
We were born barefoot and we do not need a pair of shoes superammortizzanti with motion control, protection, pronation, supination, integrated chips, etc etc.
The best shoes are the worst , the best shoes are the worst.
The human body is designed to run without shoes.
A shoe offers support and propulsion protected completely unnatural relation to the structure of our feet. Calls for the use of heel and knee with greater force increases the risk of injury.
The arch of the foot is a high strength net consists of 26 bones, 33 joints, 12 tendons and 18 extensible elastic muscles.
Put your feet in shoes is similar to put in a plaster cast. In
shoes the tendons of the muscles become rigid, they wilt and do not provide the natural movement.
The foot loses that touch that connects us to mother earth.
You lose the moment, you lose the attention of the moment, you lose the perception.
Christopher collects information from athletic trainers, athletes, scholars and doctors discovered a world race now lost in time.
fails, try on himself to solve the physical problems and be able to run free.
In the book's amusing anecdotes are interwoven with the stories of many characters, including the aforementioned Caballo Blanco, Barefoot Ted , Jenn Shelton , Billy "Bonehead" Barnett, Scott Jurek , Ann Trasona , Luis Escobar, Joe Vigil, Eric Orton, Arnulfo Quim, Manuel Luna ...
A book intriguing, moving, dedicated to the Tarahumara, the ultrarunners but also to people who simply want to run in the middle of nature in a spontaneous way.
I think the book has not yet been translated and published in Italy.
is available in English at amazon.com:
Caballo Blanco organizes each year, the Copper Canyon Ultra Marathon to help families Tarahumara. It is also spokesman for the nonprofit Noraway Rarámuri-de Amigos de Tarahumara that supports the culture of this extraordinary people of the Sierra del Cobre Mexico.

're Denying who you are."

seeds Chía
We had a rather cold and rainy winter here in Mexico (the unusual rain in this period). With the arrival of the month March is beginning to feel hot. You sleep with the windows open at night and by day turns into Bermuda. The hottest months here in the central areas are those of April and May. In June, the rains begin to get that cool afternoon. The heat is dry you sweat a little or nothing but it is so suffocating that seems to be missing my breath as my throat feels dry. During the warm months
always prefer to refresh and losing in the shade of some raspado consuming a kiosk, a sort of Mexican granita made with natural ingredients.
At home there is always el agua de sabor , the taste of water, a tradition of any Mexican home.
taste of drinking water in qualasiasi year and at any time of day. Refreshes and softens your thirst.
Pearl prepares water tastes every day. They can be orange, tangerine, melon, watermelon, lime, guava, mango, barley, cucumbers, sapote, guanabana, strawberry, papaya ... So there 'gives sbizzarrisi here in Mexico for this type of drink!
There 's also a Mexican seed that is used to prepare water very refreshing. A tiny seed of an herbaceous plant called Chia (Salvia hispanica)
Prepare a water-seed Chia is simple: the seeds are added to the almost natural with a little sugar and juice files.
Raramuris I call this drink or Tarahumara iSki .
Besides being refreshing un'eccezzionale Chia seeds have a high nutritional value. For centuries this tiny seed has been used as a staple food by indigenous groups in the south-west of the current United States and Mexico.
Its use as a food of strength and high energy has been known since ancient times of the ancient Aztec. The indigenous ingested a little more than a spoon to deal with long walks or runs as in the case of the Tarahumara, Navajo and Hopi.
The natives of the Southwest who walked from the Rio Colorado to the shores of California interchange for turquoise stones for shells, carrying with them seeds of Chia to feed.
If you mix in a glass of water a spoon of Chia and allowed to rest for half an hour you will notice that the glass contains water and seeds, but an almost solid gelatin. This reaction is due to soluble fiber present in this seed.
Information is learned that this gel once in the stomach creates a physical barrier between carbohydrates and digestive enzymes so that slows the conversion of carbohydrates into sugar. This slowdown in the conversion of carbohydrates into sugar can be a boon for people suffering from diabetes. The

Another unique quality of the seeds of the Chia is its high content of oils (omega-3 and omega-6). They are rich in short
of unsaturated fatty acids, linoleic acid, which the body is not able to generate. Unsaturated fatty acids are important for respiration of vital organs and make it easier to transport oxygen to cells, tissues and organs. They also help to maintain the lubrication between the cells and combining the protein and cholesterol to form living membranes that hold cells together.
Unsaturated fatty acids are essential for normal glandular activity, especially those of the thyroid and adrenal glands. They nourish the skin cells and are essential for healthy nerves and mucous membranes.
The role of fatty acids acids in the body is also to work together with vitamin D, which allows it to be available in the calcium in bones, helping the absorption of phosphorus and to stimulate the conversion of carotene into vitamin A.
It's amazing how a tiny seed has all these benefits for our body. True?
Curiosity: it seems that the key gave the name to the state of Chiapas ( Chía -pan Río de la Chía ).
